Established in 1863, JIM has developed into a highly successful journal since it was launched in its revised form in 1989. With an Impact Factor of 6.754 and ISI Journal Citation Reports © Ranking: 2017:13/155 (Medicine, General & Internal). It features original clinical articles from all over the world within the broad field of general and internal medicine and its sub-specialties. JIM also supports and organizes scientific meetings in the form of symposia, such as the one featured in this website.
